The ICNY After-School Maktab Program provides children with a structured and welcoming environment to continue their Islamic education after regular school hours.
At the Islamic Center of New York, our After-School Program is designed to provide children with quality Qur’an and Islamic education alongside their regular school studies.
The program provides students with a structured learning environment where they can improve their Qur’an recitation, learn essential Islamic knowledge, and develop good character and Islamic manners.
Our weekday After-School Maktab runs Monday through Thursday from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and is taught by Rashed Sohel. Students receive focused Qur’an and Islamic instruction while developing discipline, confidence, and a strong connection with their faith.
The program is designed to complement a child’s regular academic education while giving them a consistent opportunity to learn and practice Islamic teachings.
